With consideration of the heritage conservation location of the terrace in mind, Sydesign in consultation with the client, was reluctant to alter the front or upper level of the house.

Instead clever interior design features and furnishing ideas were used to open up what was once small dark spaces, to light filled areas with a sense of space.

By incorporating white polished timber floors with a pallet of bright accent colours in the joinery, the Sydesign interiors team have created a character filled home which compliment the traditional heritage elements of the home.

Sydesign thought outside the box and made a recommendation none of the other designers had thought of.

Sydesign followed this through by working with council and as a result our extension was approved despite pushing the controls set by council. This has created a whole new living space for our family and added great value to our home.
