Kingsgrove Dual Occupancy

Kingsgrove Dual Occupancy

New dual-occupancy development - Development Application (DA) - Georges River Council

Sydesign presents a stunning dual occupancy design located on a unique corner-shaped allotment in Kingsgrove. The design makes good use of the irregular shaped block, optimising the space to the best of its ability.

A centralised courtyard becomes the perfect location for a private pool, further accentuated by the use of glass and void above the stairs.

The afternoon sun spills light from the first floor down into the void above the stairs creating a luminescent feel. The green wall features as a backdrop to the pool, and the pool a backdrop to the internal living spaces.

This modern piece of architecture explores the use of different elements, materials and textures, and how they come together in a suburban backdrop. Corten steel, face brick, render, steel and glass become the complimenting materials of this modern facade.

The design pushes the boundaries, seamlessly connecting the living areas into the adjoining courtyards and pool surround. The living area opens up out into these external spaces blurring the distinction between inside and outside, becoming an entertainer's paradise.
